Adobe Flash is a popular method for adding animation and interactivity to web pages; Flash is commonly used to create animation, advertisements, and various web page components, to integrate video into web pages, and more recently, to develop rich Internet applications.
Adding a Flash header or animation to your website can create interest and movement in an otherwise static environment. Our main page header was constructed using Flash as well as our portfolio galleries, we also construct Movie Screen adverts and other web applications using this program.
We don't recommend using Flash for "intro pages" as these are usually ignore by viewers who will immediately click skip intro or click away from your site altogether. Intro pages are notoriously non search engine friendly as Flash itself is not searchable, although this is changing through and agreement with Google, Yahoo and Adobe.
Sound: Most web users don't like the surprise of sounds playing or music on a website unless they have actively clicked to request it. Many web users will listen to music as they browse and as their is no standard sound control on the web, music or sound effects can be very loud or too quite to be effective and can cause users to leave your site.
Flash is a completely separate program than HTMl and requires programmers versed in Actionscript 2 and 3 to create animations and interactive components and are priced accordingly.
